Terms of Use

These Terms govern your access to Blend. By signing in, purchasing coins, uploading data, or sealing consent, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Blend turns life-stream exports you supply into a short personal film and related artefacts (analysis, storyboard, share links). It is a creative / reflective product — not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or diagnostic advice. Films and findings are interpretive, probabilistic, and may be wrong or incomplete.

2. Eligibility & account

• You must be at least 16 (or the higher digital-consent age in your country).
• You must use a Google account you control.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts for abuse, fraud, or Terms violations.

3. Your data & licences

• You represent that you own or have lawful rights to any export, dump, or JSONL you upload.
• You grant us a limited licence to process that data solely to operate the Service for you (parse, analyse, render, store, and deliver outputs you request).
• You retain ownership of your underlying personal data subject to platform terms of Instagram, Google, LinkedIn, Cursor, etc.
• You must not upload illegal content, others’ private data without authority, or malware.

4. Acceptance code (operational consent)

At signup you claim a private 6-digit acceptance code. Do not disclose it to anyone — it is yours alone. Every time you load a dump for mulching (any lane), you must re-enter that code to confirm we have your consent to process that export. The same code authorises destructive actions (delete Blend, wipe data, delete account). Keep it secret. Contact support if you are locked out of your account.

5. Coins, billing & free Express

• Demo / teaser experiences may be free and do not spend wallet coins.
• New accounts may receive one free Express Blend (24h window · ~1 minute · standard mode only), subject to change.
• Ooh La La and other premium modes are never free.
• Coin packs are sold via Stripe. Prices include applicable taxes where shown at checkout.
• Purchases are generally final except where mandatory consumer law requires a refund.
• Coins have no cash value outside the Service and are non-transferable except as we allow.

6. Acceptable use

• No scraping, attacking, or overloading the Service.
• No attempting to bypass billing, consent, or acceptance-code gates.
• No using outputs to harass, dox, or unlawfully profile others.
• No reverse engineering except where law permits.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, brand, software, and demo content are owned by David Labs or its licensors. Subject to these Terms, you may use your generated Blend for personal and lawful sharing. You may not claim our trademarks as your own.

8. Third-party services

Sign-in, cloud hosting, AI, payments, and source platforms are third-party services with their own terms. We are not responsible for outages or policy changes on those platforms (including export formats).

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that films will match your expectations.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, David Labs WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR COINS IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits; in that case limits apply to the fullest extent allowed.

11. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify David Labs against claims arising from your uploads, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Changes & termination

We may modify the Service or these Terms. Material Terms changes update the version above; we may require re-consent. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (acceptance code required). Provisions that should survive (IP, liability, indemnity) survive termination.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to David Labs’s principal place of business, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country say otherwise. Courts in that venue have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to those protections.
